Phormium offers a complete portfolio of transparent energy saving screens. By offering both knitted and woven screens, the choice is entirely upto the grower how to manage his greenhouse climate. 
For plants requiring full sun and a certain temperature; there are two common strategies: maximising light permeability or maximising energy saving; while optimizing light permeability. Phormium offers solutions for both options. 

The screen with the highest light permeability on the market is PhormiTex Crystal. Thanks to a unique treatment during the knitting process, the screen has a light permeability of 90% . 

PhormiTex Bright, Hermetic Clear and Super are characterized by Phormium's unique woven technology. This makes the screens durable & strong and enables superior energy saving during the full life cycle of the screen. 

Hermetic Clear enhances air humidity and is therefore the perfect screen to grow young plants or to fully steer the climate if there are other dehumidification options. 

PhormiTex Bright and PhormiTex Super, on the other hand, are moisture regulating due to a refined acrylic yarn mesh. PhormiTex Super is a more diffuse energy saving screen and spreads direct incoming light into different directions.

What type of energy screen to choose? 

With a transparent screen one chooses for maximum screening hours. A transparent screen allows you to use the screen with a minimal loss of sunlight. One can keep the screen closed in the morning or during cold days.

An alternative is a highly insulating aluminum night screen.
